We purchased our first two Bulldogs in 2004 for our sons and instantly fell in love. They are unlike any dog you will ever own. They are so loving and extremely comical. Unlike the stereotype they are not couch potatoes. They can however be high maintenance and unfortunately some tend to have health problems. If you are looking for a dog you can just put out in the backyard and play with occasionally, A Bulldog is not for you!! You should definitely research the breed before deciding to buy. We were so lucky to find our first two Bulldogs and these have become our Foundation Females.. Bulldogs are my life. I have just recently become involved in Showing and I am totally addicted. I am so lucky to have such a wonderful and supportive Husband who understands how much my Bullies mean to me. I am a Hobby Exhibitor/Breeder. Breeding should be done to improve the standard and lessen the chance of health problems. There is nothing quite as precious as a Bulldog. Their health and temperament though is most important to us. Raising Bulldog puppies is not something that should be done for profit.. There is a lot of time, expense and emotion put in to raising this breed.
